“Today we are further restricting the Russian economy and access to the services and technologies it needs to carry out this unprovoked invasion,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said. “Preventing Russia from accessing valuable professional services from the United States increases pressure on the Kremlin and prevents it from circumventing sanctions imposed by the United States and our partners. We want to put Putin on the beneficiary side of the revenues that fund his aggression in Ukraine, as well as the organizations and their leaders that support his destructive actions.

Among those on Gazprom’s list are Andrey Akimov, Alexei Belous, Elena Borisenko, Denis Kamyshev, Irina Kaplunnik, Viktor Komanov, Alexei Matveev, Alexander Muranov, Alexei Popovich, Natalia Puzyrnikova, Igor Rusanov, Vladimir Ryskin, Alexander Sobol, Alexander Stepanov, Vladimir Vinokourov, Ilya Eliseev, Dmitry Sauers, Vladimir Dmitriev, Anatoly Gavrilenko, Yuri Gazaryan, Mikhail Roseev, Famil Sadygov, Mikhail Sereda, Yuri Shamalov, Vyacheslav Tyurin and Alexey Miller.

Andrey Akimov and Alexey Miller were already on the sanctions list dated April 6 and have been reintroduced to the new list.
