While the immediate future of the Outback Truckers series may be uncertain, there is a TV light on the horizon for one of its star attractions.

Western Australian production company Prospero Productions has announced that it is in production on a brand new documentary series for Channel 7 and Discovery, Outback Farm, which is set to continue the adventures of the Haigh water-drilling family of Outback Truckers.

Set to hit our screens next year, Outback Farm follows Danyelle and Anthony and their two children, Theo and Heath, who are about to embark on their biggest outback adventure yet.

“In the wilderness and desert of the Northern Territory, the Haigh family risks everything,” said the press release announcing the show.

“They moved thousands of miles from their support network of friends and family in Queensland, to buy a $7million farm in the dead heart of Australia, 200km from Alice Springs.”

Danyelle broke the news of the show to her fans on Facebook earlier today.

“Everyone always said we should have our own TV show, well you hear it here first….. IT’S TRUE!!! OMGEEEEEE!!!,” she wrote.

“We are currently filming our first season of OUTBACK FARM, to hit your TV screens worldwide in 2023!!!

“Real Life, Real People, and Real Drama!!”
