Happiest Minds and Sri Jayadeva Institute Partner to Establish Molecular Testing Facility

Happiest Minds Technologies Limited today announced the opening of a molecular testing facility at the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Research in Bengaluru.

Ravi V, Senior Professor and HOD, Department of Neurovirology, NIMHANS, unveiled the laboratory with its state-of-the-art research facilities and infrastructure in the presence of CN Manjunath, Senior Cardiologist and Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute, and Venkatraman Narayanan, MD & CFO, The happiest minds.

Happiest Minds donated Rs1 crore to the Institute to construct the testing lab and three ICU ventilator beds.

“In line with our 5-year goal of becoming a responsible corporate citizen and a pioneer in social responsibility activities, this facility adds to our current efforts to expand public medical facilities and pursue innovative R&D and cooperation to better understand human health and disease,” said Venkatraman Narayanan, MD and chief financial officer of Happiest Minds.

In line with the company’s CSR goals of community engagement and contributing resources to social and environmental causes, the company has collaborated with a number of other partners, including the Akshaya Patra Foundation, the Bangalore West Lions Super Specialty Eye Hospital and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Baale Mane, Balajothi Center for the Disabled, One Billion Literates Foundation and Jeevarathni Foundation.

Happiest Minds Technologies was trading at Rs 995.75 per coin, down 0.44% from its previous close of Rs 1,000.15 on BSE. The certificate opened at Rs1,001 and hit the intraday high and low of Rs1,003.10 and Rs992.30 respectively.
